简单地说，极坐标（polar coordinates）就是：用角度和长度描述平面中点的位置的坐标系。
有了上述三个要素，空间中任意一点都可以用序对\((r,\theta)\)表示。
我们常用的笛卡尔直角坐标（Cartesian coordinates）与极坐标的转换：
\(\begin{cases} x = r\cdot\cos\theta\\ y = r\cdot\sin\theta\end{cases}\)
